August 16, 2021 - Probably better than a 92 rating right now. This wine is in a great drink window. Decanted for about two and a half hours. Classic Pauillac. I have often purchased Red Bordeaux with 89-90 ratings and found that many outperformed their price (and the pro ratings) after 10 to 15 years. This wine is a classic case of that phenomenon. It is now 18 years old. I originally bought the case 2006. I see that the average auction price for this one is up about 33% year over year. So.....the word is out on the development of this wine.
