  August 22, 2021 - Clear, light canary yellow with an aromatic nose of yellow pomelos, star fruits with a hint of canned lychees (it's certainly not fresh lychees), with a muted impression of a spiciness that is comparable to red stargazer flowers mixed with pomelo blossoms, and candle wax. The palate is clean, medium-bodied, quite sweet, and rather plain but pleasant. The flavors of sweet tropical yellow fruits as those mentioned in the above are present tough not as intense or clearly delineated as I would like or expect in this varietal. Nonetheless, it was a nice and simple treat since it's been quite a while since I had a Gewürztraminer.
