  August 22, 2021 - I bought a bunch of these on the back of the good reviews and must say I was rather disappointed. This one I tasted properly after 3 days open, which definitely improved it, although it’s still only “decent” and I shan’t be buying more.
  
  Deep, ruby color, definitely doesn’t look like Sangiovese.
  
  Nose has opened up and is now M+ intensity, with quite a bit to like. Ripe blueberries, musty cigar box and white flowers.
  
  Pretty full bodied, full but soft tannins and a good whack of acid. Fresh, clean and savoury. Blueberry but quite savoury with the white flowers and bell pepper, some leather developing. Longish finish, decent minerality
