Not quite as forthcoming as the best few bottles I've tasted, this shows the old vine density and substance I recall, but seeming slightly shut down. Plenty of apple, lemon and lemon curd, but rather firm and backward right now.

8/27/21, 9:24 AM - Matches my experience. The first bottle I opened last summer was superb, the second this summer a bit muted. I will hold off for the moment, also because l have not had issues with premox with Niellon wines so far.
