  August 30, 2021 - Deeper red. Smooth. Soft. Nice savoury nose. There are different ripe, sweet red fruits - red currant, strawberry and raspberry - on the nose and palate. A theme of black cherry and some blackberry as well. Good acidity. Light spice notes - vanilla. Some thyme. Pretty full bodied, but not over the top. I think a bit more bottle age will be good for this wine, but it is clearly drinking well now.
