September 3, 2021 - Epic Bordeaux for an Epic Birthday!; 9/1/2021-9/12/2021 (Paris & Bordeaux): Recommendation from Vantre when I asked for an old Rhone from Cornas and noted that I'd rather have the right wine than the Instagrammable one. This was the recommendation. Only a few bottles left. It's pretty feral. Lots of animal and a bit of horse blanket and fairly intense and ferrous. Last wine of the evening and it worked for that.
