September 4, 2021 - I brought a 750 to dinner at 48 deg. And it was received and handed by the restaurant staff perfectly. The wine was supposedly young at this stage, though we found it nuanced and intriguing! Yes, structured but elegantly so. Relentless flavors follow every sip. We had to force ourselves to slow down and be in the moment, to be mindful as it tempts you to keep tasting again and again! Without a doubt it was the WOTN and for me the wine of the year, so far! Champagne wise!
This was no minor soirée as it was our fathers 91st birthday! Needless to say it was immensely enjoyed by the family and especially the guest of honor! Thank you Water Bar Restaurant S.F, CA - what an experience! Thank you.1 person found this helpful 1,745 views
