Community Tasting Note

  • Big Juicy Red Likes this wine:

September 16, 2021 - I mostly agree with @Aravind. Upon first opening the nose is very fruity — pear, citrus, etc., while the taste is very lean and closed. Let it sit for a couple of hours, and it improves drastically. Either I’m getting congested, or the nose is fading considerably, while the flavors are blossoming. Pear, white peach, some lemon, cut grass, maybe persimmon and a hint of bitterness to bind it all together. High acid, moderate to moderate plus complexity and a crisp, clean finish.

I’m not familiar with this grape or region at all, but in the absolute this is a nice wine. Paired nicely with pesto and cheese omelettes.
