  September 17, 2021 - Nice red and blackberry nose. I do sense a bit of alcohol. It is sort of an astringency. This wine is full body and unfortunately heat remains on the finish at pnp. There is ample fruit; red liquorish, chocolate and red raspberry in the middle. The finish is between one and two minutes. My real disappointment right now is the heat at pnp and there is no reason to rush. This is a beautiful wine that just needs time to begin to show some maturity. Read my comment too. Wine was much better three hours in and heat reduced. I increased score from 94 at pnp to 96 after three hours.

  9/17/21, 4:23 PM - After three hours the heat has dissipated. So, I would open this and decant for three hours. I should have said that most of the heat was on the opening.
