  September 17, 2021 - When i first opened this and sipped, i thought it was amazing, maybe best Italian of the year (purch. on release, from premier cru😆). After an hour, hour:20 or so, I didn’t like it as much, seemed the fruit that mingled with the aged notes at the beginning had faded. Nose has some menthol and burnt sugar notes, palate is super smooth, nice tart acidity, iron cherry, maybe a hint of leather. Still good at the end, but not the elation at the pop.
