Community Tasting Note

October 18, 2021 - My one and only bottle of this which I have held to celebrate our son's HS graduation last year. Paired wonderfully with grilled ribeyes and vegetables. Last glass was even better on day 2.

I think HENDMO's 10/2021 note summed it up very nicely. Though I would add I decanted for 2 hours prior to serving.

"Deep concentrated ruby colour, which is Rich nose of cassis, slightly roasted plums, licorice, a hint of graphite and vanilla. Palate is well balanced with rich dark fruits, a deep seam of graphite and some gentle spices. Finish is subtle at first, but builds nicely into a lovely, classy, and mineral infused finish, framed by slightly dusty but well integrated tannins."
