    October 20, 2021 - Cork solid, wet for 25%
Colour deep impenetrable garnet ,clear , slight bricking black hues very good for 34 years 15/15
Nose intense complex fading black fruits olive blackberry blackcurrant plum ,oak spice cassis cigar box liquorice dark chocolate, smoky , tobacco , grill meat , some tertiary elements z, leather , mushroom , earthy amazing complexity 29/30
Palate full bodied chewy tannins in control here hiding the black fruits chocolate cassis , desperately seeking a large slab of protein 40/44
Overall It’s amazing that Grange ages so gracefully, according to 8th Ed of rewards of Patience this has past its peak drinking window but I still am enjoying it . I’m going to follow it over the next couple of days to see if the tannins soften 10/11
