  November 6, 2021 - Very open and expressive. There was baked blackberry and blueberry , chocolate lava cake, and a hint of mint. The acidity was completely balanced and the tannins were like velvet. The finish went on for minutes.
  
  I tasted this again 2 days after being recorked. To my surprise, I found it to be better on the second round. It had more cherry and less baked fruit. I initially gave this a 91 but upgraded it to a 93 after the second tasting. The tannins were also more silky and clean.
