    November 7, 2021 - Nice wine with some complexity. Pretty juicy and quaffable right now, I think it will evolve well and be much better with a bit of age.

    Medium garnet color with quite a distinct orange rim

    After a 1 hour decant, this had an aroma that was quite complex, if not terribly intense. Cherry, orange, thyme, oregano and some wood. No tertiary aromas.

    Fairly high acid. Medium+ tannins but very well integrated. Medium body, quite a long finish, medium+ flavor intensity. Flavor profile was largely fruity - piquant cherry with a real citrus note, with that herbal undertone and aftertaste. There's a hint of charcoal and chocolate, and I think this will be more interesting in 5 years time.
