  November 21, 2021 - Unsure of how this was stored prior to us receiving it as a gift. Presented as rustic and, perhaps, a bit over the hill. Surprising for a winery known for its ageworthy Cabs. A Cali-Bordeaux style with black fruits, cassis and pencil lead and shavings throughout. Restrained nose and a shorter finish than expected. Nice, but not what we were expecting.

  11/24/21, 7:32 AM - I had a 2004 a couple years ago that was a similar experience. I've learned not to have expectations and am glad for the good surprises I get more often these days!
