  December 10, 2021 - Less funk on the nose versus the last few I had tasted. For some that is a plus, for me, I missed the added complexity. Still, drinking very nicely, plenty of acid, smooth tannins. Not in your face ripe fruit like some 09’s, still had a more classic style to it with berry notes and pencil lead. Very enjoyable.

  12/12/21, 4:51 AM - You sure like that funk! Never had this maker but have seen them around a lot. A bit surprised the '09 wasn't better but maybe it just needs another 10 years?

  12/12/21, 5:09 AM - Oh I thought it was very good and right in its window. Just different from many of the 09s that seem less typical to me.
