February 15, 2009 - Good, if not decent, califonia cabernet. The usual suspects arive at the table from a flavor perspective...what struck me the most was the chocolate notes along with deep dark fruits and a supporting cast of woodtones. This is a big boy and is somewhat astringent---- serve with fatty food e.g. ribeye steaks or short ribs. Probably could benefit from some additional aging.
