December 10, 2021 - First glass was a PnP at cellar temp, while the rest was consumed over two hours. The first glass was the best, showing cocoa, dark fruits, oak, and just a touch of minerality. Unfortunately, as it either warmed up, got air, or both, the oak/vanilla came to the front. While drinking our last glass, my wife and I both commented on how prevalent the oak had become.

I wish I knew that aging for several more years would tame the oak, but given that it came to the fore over the two hours instead of fading, I am unsure that aging will help. A good wine but given the price, the QPR certainly isn't there today.
