February 16, 2009 - Drank over three nights. Wonderful aromas of red fruits and hints of camphor on the nose. Bright red fruit is the initial impression buoyed by ever-present acidity. Fruits get an interesting sour note on the midpalate - and this seemingly lithe drink fills your throat with fruit, tar and earth. Persistent finish defined by tannins and acidity. Mellowed over the three days a tad - this certainly can rest for a while.
