January 7, 2022 - Drank over 2 nights Day 1 it was a bit closed but still enjotable. Day 2 It had just great tension, balance between tannins, fruit and acidity. Saddle leather or maybe saddle soap and leather on the nose. What really nice about this wine is that is powerful without being over fruit forward and the fruit that is there is not primary even at this early age. Not as oak dominated as mant young Napa Cabs. The fruit profile is medium red and pretty tasty. I think this wine's best days are ahead but with a days air this is pretty good right now. 94 now maybe a point or two more with prpoer aging.
