    January 11, 2022 - My first Huet of any sort. Oh. My. God. The QPR is so good the retail price seems like some kind of trick. And you guys say this stuff ages into...something even BETTER? The rest of 2022 might be hell, but this and the kitten I just adopted are simply adorable.

    1/11/22, 8:31 AM - They do age well, but be aware that they have also had issues with premox, with certain vintages being more affected than others. They aren't alone in the Loire with this issue, as Chidaine at least has also had major issues.

    1/11/22, 9:03 AM - Thanks for the insights - yeah, I've heard aboout that issue via berserkers. Not a tragedy if I have to drink it all in the next couple years.

    1/11/22, 9:11 AM - I think it's a relatively low risk problem compared to say, White Burgundy, but it is out there. I had a few 2010 Huets which were affected, and a bunch of '14 Chidaine.

    1/11/22, 3:11 PM - Welcome to the Huet side! It is a bit mind-boggling that something that drinks so well young can--and truly does--get even better. There are two things that I always tell myself I should be buying more of: Riesling and Huet.
