  October 26, 2008 - Edward Roberts International Pre-Auction Tasting (Union League Club, Chicago, IL): Sight: Some bricking going on.
  
  Nose: A big cali wine was my first impression. Impressions of sumptiousness. Darkest red fruits and of course oakity oak oak. Some tellicherry black pepper and good old toasted oak vanillins.
  
  Taste: Surprisingly smooth. The nose would have let me to expect a tougher wine. Still has grip and the power for aging longer. A little bit of florals on the finish.
  
  Overall: 92-93 points.
