February 24, 2022 - Huber-Verdereau is still unexplicably underrated, providing elegant and balanced wines with great potential. Their Monthélie «La Combe Danay» is distinctly floral, with subtle violet and lilac aromas. Lean raspberry and morel, subtle earthyness, champignon and touch of herbs. Fresh acidity, sleek tannins. Lovely balance and medium length. Still one of the better value Burgundy buys in NO in my mind - both the bottle and the producer.
