April 3, 2022 - No detailed notes taken. Dark and dense nose, spicy and ripe. The nose suggests a lot of substance which is then confirmed on the palate. Quite intense, dense, ripe, spicy showcasing the hot vintage. Very impressive Village wine with a lot of substance. Missing a touch of round- and creaminess. Very solid 91/92 pts. This is very good but can someone explain to me why somebody would pay 4-digits dollars for such a wine. That‘s just plain stupid.

4/6/22, 12:16 AM - Thanks for your comment. I can see why a very rare, potentially perfect RSV can reach stratospheric prices (other wines with similar potential already have). There's hardly any or no alternative for such wines. But a village wine which gives you a 90 to 92 pts experience? Who would buy that?
