  April 9, 2022 - The nose leads with vanilla and alcohol, with blackberries playing a backup role. On the palate, the oak is slightly overdone for me, which means it's in balance for most people. The primary flavor is vanilla but the dark fruits are close behind. It's medium-bodied and has no rough edges. The score here is split between my wife and me. I'll give my other bottle more time in the cellar.
