April 10, 2022 - Open up and air for 2 hrs
Apperance : light ruby with legs and petillance
Nose : medium+ intensity, subtle of red fruit : raspberries, lichorice, very significant sweet tobacco, pine, pleasent vanilla oak, wet leafiness, the wine is developing
On palate : dry, medium+ acidity, med body and alcohol, raspberry, lichorice, sweet vanilla oak, significant warm spiciness after taste.
After 4 hrs, it developed into a bit bitter aftertaste and savoury finishing. Med to med+ finishing.
The taste is the best in the beginning of the 2 hrs. This wine is a good one, where it is a good example of the feminine side of the Chassagne Montrachet. Not very complex but still enjoyable with game, duck or chicken. I will suggest to drink it now or keep it for 3 more years. Cheers!190 views
