  May 7, 2022 - Excellent wine of medium color and body. Nice red and black fruit with a touch of inky minerality. The Bobal intensity came through and it is very dry (no sweetness whatsoever) with good berry notes. It is an excellent wine made by the very large winery, Murviedro of Requena, in the Valencia region of Spain. The label doesn’t say anything about Murviedro but it mentions Schenk on the back label which is the Swiss company that owns Murviedro. I very much like this very European style red wine. It is no fruit bomb but excellent a wine of balance and concentration for the price point.
