  July 15, 2022 - open 30 min, decanted one hour, in the glass for 2.5 more. dark cranberry skin red; aromatically reticent on the outset, with air, shows ripe red sour cherry, balsam, caramelized brown sugar dark plum compote, mint - expands notably; persistent, pure & intense attack, the fruit is ripe, black-ish & concentrated; while the acids aren't prominent, the underlying tannic structure emphasizes them.
  
  even with the concentrated fruit, seems to be mostly a savory style - vintage inflected; consider your food accompaniment. first from the case, you can drink them, but this will be choice in 4 - 5 more years & beyond.
