  March 30, 1990 - With the poker gang at Dwight Dickerson's. Medium-dark ruby. Excellent nose: ripe, firm, and deep. On the palate, extremely powerful, full-bodied wine, though not overly tannic and even somewhat elegant. Chocolatey fruit, very long on the palate with a fairly complex, extended finish. Excellent wine, especially for $12.99.
