2009 Gaia Nótios

Beautiful aromatics. Clean, with great fruit. Some herbal qualities. Great blend. (Moscofilero and Rodites) 88-89
White
2009 Argyros Atlantis White
89 points
Some herbal qualities. Clean, and really interesting. Almost a touch of spice. This is high quality stuff. 89+
White
2008 Domaine Hatzimichalis Chardonnay
87 points
Spicy, doesn't really taste that much like chard. Lots of herbal qualities. Huh.
Red
2008 Gaia Agiorgitiko Nótios
87 points
Bright fruit. Juicy. Easy going. Nice, but the price doesn't really make it something to seek out. 86-87
Red
2006 Domaine Spiropoulos Agiorgitiko Red Stag
87 points
Big, rich nose. Nice fruit, medium+ mouthfeel. This is good. 87+
Red
2008 Gaia Agiorgitiko Gaia Estate
86 points
Big rich style. Fruit forward, modern. Could really be any grape, from anywhere. That doesn't mean it's not good, just not very interesting. It seems that in order to taste what the wines of Greece are like, you must spend less then $20 a bottle. 85-87
Red
2006 Domaine Hatzimichalis Cabernet Sauvignon
Bigger, richer fruit on the nose. Heavy and dry. Hmmm. 87+
Red
2006 Argyros Atlantis Red
87 points
Spicy, great red fruits here. Heavy on the front palate. Maybe a little over the top. Rich.
White
N.V. Gaia Ritinitis Nobilis
84 points
Super smoky nose. Pine and rosemary. On the palate, the resin and fruit are actually working pretty well together. Lots of herbs, pine, some white fruits. Not my cup of tea, but this isn't like the wretchid Retsina's most people are used to.
