Shyish nose. Crisp, slightly leesy, creamy, delicious. Riper than a typical Champagne. Good acidity.

Creamy, good acidity, no blanc-de-noir foxiness. Good acidity, representative Champagne.

Great age. Perfect acidity, not as effervescent (which I like), not super bready. Very classy, beat out the two actual Champagnes at the tasting.

Toast bomb. Tastes over-the-hill or oxidized, unfortunately. Very bready, okish acidity.

Licorice on the nose. Rich for the region, lightish tannins, good acidity, red fruit. Creamy. Drinking well.

Odd nose, somewhat shy. Rich, warm but light acidity. Oak? Smooth and simple.

Interesting nose - perfumed, smooth. Strawberry bomb. Smooth mouthfeel, lilacs, elegant, not overly ripe.

The others' favorite of the tasting, but not mine. Good, but too much green stems and oaky bitterness. Medium body and acid, light tannins. Extracted. Not over-ripe.

This had been open for quite awhile, and room temp. Very nose. Lots of strawberry, smooth, easy, elegant. Restrained ripeness, but great glycerin mouthfeel.

Meaty nose, round, elegant. I think I'd had too many Pinots, where this tasted a little rough in comparison.

Solid stuff. Viscous, but with great acidity. Delicious, fruit-forward, with lots of strawberry.
