Introduction

After our first stop at Balducci we had a little time to kill before heading off to lunch and our afternoon appointment at Maisonry so we popped into Pina for a quick tasting of 5 wines literally standing around the wine barrels that served as the tasting bar. Here are the results:

Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of brown spices, yellow pears, yellow apples and a dash of cream. Flavors of yellow apples, yellow pears and a dash of cream. Drink now through the next 2-3 years plus or minus.
