To me, the Becker viognier is the best wine in Texas, and one of the best examples of viogniers in the states. juicy strawberry, cola flavors, medium scarlet colored. A real favorite of the crowd and the first bottle to be emptied. ****

tasting like it's starting to get a bit old, vs. poor storage, but with some airing started to freshen up. Judgement reserved.

deep dark purple, full of dark fruits, graphite, with beauitful balance. A big yet very elegant Napa Cab. Outstanding ****+

A very good, but not great Opus. Medium weight, a bit over oaked perhaps, but nice wine ****

Very typical caymus Napa. deep colored, big upfront chocolatey, kirsch, vanillin flavors. This wine was fairly low down on everyone's list tonight and the last to go. ****

simply a lovely, full balanced napa cab. sweet tannins allow for current drinking, or for the long haul. Better than ****

big full, very easy to drink Napa Syrah. No heat, just full peppery dark fruits. ****

Dark cherry, leathery flavors, with some dusty tannins. Perhaps more time will help this open up a bit more. ****
