Flight 1 (1 note)

White - Sparkling
2002 Philipponnat Champagne Grand Blanc France, Champagne
attractive. drinks well now

Flight 2 (1 note)

White
1992 Nicolas Potel Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru
93 points
Drinking beautifully now, although I wouldn't hang on much longer after the experience with his 1990.

Flight 3 (1 note)

White
2002 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
88 points
very deep yellow, pleasant notes of honeysuckle but a little tired and oxidised.

Flight 4 (1 note)

Red
1962 Pétrus France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol
96 points
Top notch condition bottle with perfect label and neck level. Wonderfully rich and sensual. Maybe lacking the usual powerful Petrus scent, but what a treat - many thanks Juliano!

Flight 5 (1 note)

Red
1982 Château Canon France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
92 points
From magnum. Old school st emilion at its absolute peak now. Extremely pleasing, but not overly exciting for me. The way this magnum is showing i would guess single bottles need to be drunk up pretty fast!

Flight 6 (1 note)

Red
1982 Château Beau-Séjour Bécot France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
87 points
Never had this wine before. Rather forgettable, other than traces of mintiness.

Flight 7 (1 note)

White - Sweet/Dessert
1962 Château Coutet France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Barsac
Dark and aromatic, but by then too drunk to have any meaningful recollection.....
