From Magnum.
Deep golden. Good fruit concentration. Initially some milky, buttery tones and after 15 minutes the liquorice PN minerality, raisins and roses set in! Very good!

Clean citrus fruit with the minerality just adding some complexity. Excellent right now! Went perfectly with lime marinated cod.

A lot darker than other growers Cot. Champ.
Good fruit concentration and acidity. Still some tannins and a hint of oak to resolve. Will probably be mature and excellent in 3-4 years.
Red
2002 Georges Vesselle Coteaux Champenois Grand Cru France, Champagne, Coteaux Champenois

Light red color.
Mature PN aromas, sous-bois, roses, very good fruit concentration and very good acidity. It drinks extremely well now but should hold well another 5 years. Went excellently with the duck this evening.

Closing

In stead of fire crackers the champagnes were duly opened with a sabre.
