This bottle was slightly off, drinkable but flat and rather one dimensional.

Drinking nicely today. This is med bodied with dark fruit, tobacco, leather, a hint of menthol, just abit of cocoa and some firm, rather chalky tannins on the finish. Needed a couple of hours in the decanter to open. Quite nice. This bottle opened very well on day two. The flavors became richer and more distinct. The tannins were still quite firm. This is a very nice Bordeaux that still has a youthful feel and is drinking very well today.

Drinking well. A much more expressive nose than the 05 and perhaps abit more depth to the flavors and a touch of bret that I rather enjoy. Overall, pretty much comparable to the 05.
