Wife really liked this. Grapes from San Luis Obispo, Monterey, and Sonoma counties. Complex. Young - still could use some aging. Went well with shrimp, mussels, and scallops with tomatoes and linguini. Tasted at Il Forniao restaurant on Coronado island. A decent price at retail $16, but overpriced at $39 restaurant price.

Strange earthy, tar aroma. Did not really go well with any appetizer or main meal of shrimp, scallops, and crab in a red sauce. Tasted at Il Forniao restaurant on Coronado island. Overpriced at $9 / glass and $35 / bottle restaurant price.
