Flight 1 (5 notes)

White
2010 Domaine Belluard Gringet Vin de Savoie Le Feu France, Savoie, Vin de Savoie
86 points
Apple cider, spice, honey nose. Similar palate, light to medium bodied with medium acid. Interesting but a bit too oxidative for my taste. (my 3rd, group's 4th)
White
2010 Domaine Belluard Altesse Vin de Savoie Grandes Jorasses France, Savoie, Vin de Savoie
89 points
Appley nose, just a whiff of cider. Light to medium bodied with medium to high acid. Crisp, lemony palate with a long citrus fruit finish. A hint of oxidation on the nose but none in the mouth. (my 1st, group's 2nd)
White
2009 Domaine des Aubuisières Vouvray Cuvée de Silex France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Vouvray
flawed
Stinky, reductive nose. White peach and a touch of residual sugar but hard to tainted by reduction. The penny trick helped, brought out peach and floral flavors. Others clearly didn't find the reduction as offensive as I did. (my 5th, group's 1st)
White
2010 Domaine de Montcy Cheverny Cuvée Clos des Cendres France, Loire Valley, Upper Loire, Cheverny
81 points
Grassy, vegetal, sauvignon blanc nose. Light bodied with low to medium acidity. Green, grassy palate, too much so for me. (my 4th, group's 5th)
White
2009 Les Crêtes Petite Arvine Valle d'Aosta Italy, Valle d'Aosta
88 points
Lush, tropical nose, litchi and papaya. Medium bodied with medium to high acidity. Tart peach, tart citrus, not tropical like the nose. Slightly bitter citrus pith finish. (my 2nd, group's 3rd)

Flight 2 (1 note)

White - Sparkling
2008 Domaine Belluard Mont Blanc Brut Zéro France, Savoie, Vin de Savoie Ayse
90 points
Bruised apple nose. Dry, minerally, yellow apple palate. Fine bead. Very nice!

White
2010 Cantina Pedres Vermentino di Gallura Thilibas Italy, Sardinia, Vermentino di Gallura DOCG
