Flight 1 (2 notes)

Red
2008 Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Russian River Valley USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley
92 points
Of the two 08 PN's tonight, this was unquestionably the most extracted and densest, that is to say, a typical Kosta Browne PN. There was deep red and dark fruit fruit with earth and white pepper.
Red
2008 Le Cadeau Pinot Noir Côte Est USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
92 points
Not quite as dense or concentrated as the Kosta Browne, but displaying some finesse and subtlety that the KB is lacking. Both are forward, New World styled PN's that are equally enjoyable.

Closing

While both were equally enjoyable, today the Le Cadeau displayed abit more subtlety and finesse and I found it to be preferable.
