Short Note: developed aromas of barnyard, cow dung take first seat. Medium (+) body yet and fresh and youthful fruit (!). Fully integrated mature tannin. A fresh and uplifting long finish, with balanced tannins and acidity. At peak with some years to go still.

Short Note: medium(+) body, rich and complex wine. Black fruits and spice box, balanced fruit and acidity with good length intriguing finish.

Short Note: polarizing wine with high tannin and medium(+) acidity, layered flavors. Bitter-sweet finish reminiscing of Tuscany.

Short Note: classic auster Bordeaux. Pencil shavings, black fruits, and barnyard on the nose. Medium acidity and integrated tannin, balanced and creamy texture. Good length and focused finish.

Short Note: mature, at or slightly over its developmental peak. Soft and mellow, acidity, fruit and tannins are fully integrated and merged. Balance is ok, although a bit of a hole in the middle palate. Remarkable nice and fresh finish, for an 18 year old.

Short Note: medium nose of black fruits and lead pencil. Dry, medium(+) acidity and dry tannins combine in puckering finish. Slightly harsh, not the elegance you expect from a comtesse ;-).

Short Note: savoury, barnyard and spicy nose. High acidity, chewy with dry finish. Over its developmental peak, flat.
