100% Chardonnay, 60% from 2009. Lemon, toast, minerals and some meal aromas. Nice intensity with a layer of fruit sitting nicely over a mineral element. Flows well across the palate.

100% Chardonnay, 2009 base fruit. More toast than the Longitutde, with orange peel, some some spice and minerals. Powerful palate, it's long and there is finesse even with the power. Lovely wine and just as good as the Longitutde.

Toast, green apple and earthy nose. Palate has good spice with very good balance between lean mineral fruit and acidity. Intense and long.

50% 2008 and 50% 2009 fruit. Floral and earthy aromas. Nicely balanced, with some essential driven character. Finishes just ever so slightly soft but it is very nice overall.

Floral and citrus nose up front with an nutty and earthy edge to it providing more interest. Texturally excellent, this is weighty in style but utterly delicious.

100% Pinot Meunier, disgorged 01/13 - 60% from 2006 fruit. Roses, earth, lime and some apple aromas. Nicely rich on the palate, there is good acidity to counter. Persistent and lovely.

50% 2006 fruit. Rose petals and lemon with spice. Driving acidity on the palate, it is quite prominent and while it is refreshing, it's on the edge of being too dominant.

Disgorged November 2012. 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay. 60% 2003 fruit. Nutty and lemon aromas. The palate has some good texture to it and there is even a bit of grip. Acidity stands out too, but the fruit is richer than the Tradition and so it is handled better.

November 2012 disgorgement. 65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay - 60% 2005 fruit. Earth, turkish delight and sweet red cherries. The palate has some sweet fruit up front and medium length. An enjoyable wine but value for money is questionable.

Beautiful floral nose with peach, pear and botrytis. Balanced with a stunning core of acidity that controls and focuses the rich fruit. A great wine.

Lemon, slate and white florals. Acidity is at the fore with some light and lean fruit in the background. Medium length and fine for the level.

Blend of Riesling, Rieslaner, Scheurebe and Pinot Blanc from a 1L bottle. Simple slate nose. Palate is mildly sweet with medium to low acidity. Good easy drinking.

Pear with a hint at lemon on the nose. The palate has a touch of sugar but it's only barely there. Length is a little bit short and while its simple it's decent enough to drink.

Strong mineral influence with spice, pear and a hint at earth. Very good balance and composure, the length could be a bit better but this is very nice.

Spice, apricot, apple and floral notes. Plenty of spice on the palate as well, good fruit intensity and acidity. Impressive depth to it as well. There is plenty to like about this wine.

Some funky earth and spice gives the nose interest. Great pure fruit with roundness but some acidity behind it to give it drive. Really impressive at this level.

Floral with spice and pear. Dry but the fruit sweetness gives it appeal right now. Good length.

Apricot, ginger and grapefruit. Acidity is spot on with the fruit flavour filling your mouth and the acid drives it into a long finish. Should age well.

Lemon and pear with some light florals. Palate is heavily mineral driven with a coil of acid that really gives the palate some spark. Great stuff.

Lots of floral notes and orange rind. Generous mouthfeel but still has a sense of restraint. Lovely wine that will benefit greatly from time in the bottle.

Very floral with turkish delight and appealing ripe peaches. Lots of ripe fruit on the palate but it has texture and good acidity. Some more time needed to show its best.

Grapefruit and other citrus with white florals and slate. Compelling depth to the palate, I love the restrained sweetness that is present. Really, really (really) good and has the potential to be stunning.

Declassified from the Hoddles Creek and Woori Yallock sites. Toast, some lees influence and straw. Palate is quite fruit forward but it has good balance to it. A likeable wine at a superficial level.

Lovely perfumed nose with some light citrus in the background. The palate has great texture, there is good balance with just a touch of fruit sweetness coming through. Great stuff.

Hay, apple, pear and light toast. Palate has fruit richness that is tempered by good acidity and structure. Good length and finesse.

A bit reduced, some match and slate. Palate is lean, with some fruit coming through after some swirling. Medium length, I think this would be better with some time to develop.

Grassy, smoky, capsicum aromas. Palate has that same smokiness but I really like it as it adds complexity. A wine that was pretty hard to pin down right away.

Lots of floral perfume with lime and light grass. The palate is good, there is just flashes of fruit richness and the overall impression is of vibrancy. Carries quite well lengthwise. Impressive.

Fresh cut grass and rockmelon. Mouthfeel is good and there is richness against a background note of grass. Acidity gives it some persistence.

Bland. Touch of herb and okay balance but did nothing for me.

Grass, lemon and good minerality on the nose. Palate has good interest, there is restrain combined with hints at fruit roundness around the edges. Very good balance and should age with grace.

Quite perfumed nose with a touch of herb and pineapple in the background. Medium length with a fine core of minerality and good balance. Drinks very easily.

Intense floral perfume with lemon pie, lanolin and pineapple. There is crunchy acidity and good fruit weight to balance. Good length.

Spice, lemon rind and white floral notes. I like the minerality on the palate against the tiny lick of residual sugar. Needs time, it is good but very young right now.

Lemon and slate nose. Dilute on the palate, falling off further on the back palate. Okay.

Good strawberry perfume and pear/lime elements to the nose. Good fruit on the palate with the minerality prominent as well.

Tightly wound, mostly mineral with a touch of unripe peach. Palate is well balanced with nice mouthfeel. Good length and should age nicely.

Match, floral and a touch of honey. Palate has both great fruit intensity and purity. Very good length. Lovely wine.

Lovely aromatics - peach, pear and spice. Classy, restrained palate - a step up on some of the earlier wines. The fruit depth is very good, excellent stuff here.

Vanilla, citrus and spice with some oak evident. Well structured palate, it needs time to unwind.

Restrained nose - mineral with some floral notes. The palate is more open with good fruit weight that is well proportioned alongside the oak. Good, balanced power that will do well with time.

White florals and honey on the nose. The palate is quite powerful, with good flow to it. Medium length, the fruit just needs a bit more depth to it but I liked it.

Banana and lime nose. Palate is elegant, but it strays into austerity for my taste.

Floral and slate nose. The palate is rounded but the acidity drives it through and into a lingering finish. Very good.

Toast and honeyed richness to the nose. The palate is generous in its flavour profile. Medium length and depth.

Lime and peach on the nose. Palate is lean and a touch short but it is decent overall.

Good perfume, spice, straw and smoke aromas. Lovely balance with good length. Fruit has depth to it and really nice weight.

Straw and lemon with a touch of florality. Medium power palate with some appeal to it. Not enough depth to be great but it's a good wine that will drink well over the short to medium term.

Cherry, strawberry and rhubarb. Light and pretty palate. Pleasant to drink.

Stalks, cherry and spice. Palate is light and the fruit depth is a little disappointing for this wine. Medium length but not enough interest at the price point asked.

Earth, bright red cherry and some light smoke. Medium bodied with very good texture and light red fruit. Drink from now to 5 years.

Appealing aromatics of truffle, earth, cherry and spice - really draws you into the wine. Lithe on the palate but there is excellent detail and texture. Delicious and right in the zone for drinking.

Cherry, rhubarb and smoke. Strawberry fruit dominates the palate, with a light tannic grip that covers the sweet fruit. Tasty.

Stalk, some raspberry and cherry. Palate has some stalk to it as well, with good texture. Savoury and well balanced.

Mineral and cherry nose with some florals. Palate is savoury and earthy with medium length.

Graphite, spice, earth and cherry - very appealing nose. Good length on the palate, with a light touch of tannin and good fruit.

Rose, raspberry and earth. Palate has that streak of raspberry through it as well. Fine tannins and good length.

Earth, stalk and minerals in a nicely complex nose. Palate has more black fruit but the earth is still prominent. Good but the sweet black fruit is maybe a touch overdone for my personal preference.

Violets with a touch of stem influence. The palate is lithe but it has appeal and a savoury edge to it.

Cherry and spice on the nose. Lightly fruited palate, there is an element of structure but I don't think its a wine that will benefit from age - I like it now though!

Smoky, toast, cherry and earthy nose. Approachable palate with bright red fruit that has some depth to it. Well balanced, and has some character to it that appeals.

Nice perfumed nose with rose, pepper and blackcurrant. Palate is restrained and has plenty of spice, in the classic cool climate style. Good length, this is very easy to like.

Lifted blackcurrant nose, with florals, cedar and spice. Really nice mouthfeel, the balance here is spot on with the savoury elements mixed in with delicious restrained red fruit. Impressive, especially for the vintage in question. Should age well over the medium term.

Cherry and light earth. Good spice and texture to the palate with a pinch of bright fruit, medium length. Drink now while the bright fruit persists.

Some animale, earthy, rhubarb and tar. Nice mix between the savoury elements and restrained black fruit on the palate. Medium length and should age well.

Meaty and earthy, with blackcurrant and smoke. Palate has black fruit intensity but it isn't over the top with the ripeness. Good texture and ageing potential.

Cherry, licorice and plum nose. Palate is quite fleshy, with medium length.

Raspberry and black cherry with licorice and an odd tropical note as well. Medium length, there is a tannic kick to it that I like.

Musky and earth with undergrowth, licrorice and raspberry - interesting and I liked it. Rich fruit on the palate, with a layer of spice and the tannins coming in to provide structure. Very well balanced and good length.

There has been some controversy about this wine, with various critics hating or loving it, I think the wine is great based on this quick taste!

Iron, earth, berries and chocolate. Palate has some iron character as well, with the tannins fine but quite assertive right now. Good and should get better over the medium term.

Raspberry, rose petal and licorice. A touch of meaty flavour and more raspberry on the palate. Medium length.

Earthy, cherry and raspberry nose. Very, very impressively structured. Nice balance but time is essential for this to show its best.

Very high toned perfume - cherry, floral and smoke. Good mouthfeel, appealing fruit with some spice. Genuine likeability.

Meaty and graphite aromas. Well proportioned palate, there is good structure and some juicy red fruits.

Tar, graphite and black cherry nose. The palate is tightly wound, there is impressive structure and balance. Plenty of potential.

Stalks and pepper with a floral element to it. Palate is restrained with more pepper and red fruit. Good.

Graphite and tar with cherry and licorice. There is plenty of fruit power coupled with bold tannins. More time to settle and develop is recommended.

Cherry, dark chocolate, cedar and tar. Tannins are ultra fine and work very well with some dark, dense fruit. A powerful wine but all the components are in proportion. Superb.

Apricot, ginger and spice. Nice mouthfeel, sweet but with good cleansing acidity.

Raisin, christmas cake and spirit aromas. Nicely balanced palate with good length but maybe a little more depth needed.

Earth, cherry and tar. Rich and rounded palate. Very appealing wine.

Caramel, dates and cedar aromas. Lifted spirits on the palate, with good persistence and power.

Nutty with bright pear and apple aromas. Clean palate, with refreshing acidity. Good length.

Macadamia, raisin and caramel. Nicely balanced palate, has decent depth and length to it. Needs a spark to be better than very good.
