quite tight to start. better after an hour. white wine glasses rather than flutes preferred.

dark and very youthful, especially compared to the 69 and 71 in same flight. unmistakable traits of a top rayas: rich, intense, earthy. long finish with robust structure. superb.

popped and poured. outshone by 71 and 78. not as expressive and a fading a little. but surprisingly I thought it became better after an hour. almost a second lease of life.

popped n poured. much lighter colour than the 78. immediately expressive. floral and sweet, almost burgundian. charming.

uncorked a couple of hours earlier but not decanted. intoxicating bouquet with intense ripeness, stewed fruits and baked spices. might be too overpowering for some tastes but that's what rayas 90 is all about. mindblowing.

opened for 2 hours without decanting. complex and classy. perhaps just a notch behind the legendary 78 but much better value for money! loved it.

aired for 3hrs in bottle. rich and complex on the palate, compared to 93 and 98 in same flight. impressive concentration.

my least favourite of the night. a bit green and alcoholic.
