Blend of different vineyards. 4 years in oak and 4 years in bottle.
Balanced, oak still noticeable. Sour cherry. ok.

Not as precise as the previous vintages with a tortilla, dog paws aspect with a bitter, vegetal finish.
Need to try another bottle.

Rustic. Salted peanuts on the nose (no oxidation though). Dark fruits. Light bitters on the finish. OK. The Torrette Superior is better.

Very structured, classic and balanced. Oak is well used.
Needs a lot of time.

Round, soft. Floral with crushed red fruits.
Nice and easy.

Soft, dark cherry and dark berries. Touch of VA, tannins already resolved. Interesting wine.

A touch of SO2 on the nose. Otherwise great balance, tension with apple and lemon.
Very good.

Lime, mineral and fresh.
Simple but enjoyable.

Red slate, 3 different sites.
Fat texture, round. Exotic with apricot. Dry.

Exotic nose, impression of RS.
Same thing on palate, some RS, yellow fruit and mango.

Mineral, chalky. Good acid balancing the RS. Ripe yellow apple.
Nice wine.

Rustic, wild. Some metal, iron notes. Broad palate, ripe. A little muddled and lacks definition.

Young vines. Concrete tanks.
Earthy, fruity nose. A hint of stems. Floral, dark fruits.
Supple but very good.

Spicy chili peppers on the nose with chocolate. Old waxed wood. Funky. Very ripe. Fermented/macerated fruits notes on the palate. Earthy finish.
Not sure what to think.

Dry farming, organic.
Classic cab nose: cassis, charcoal with a hint of bell pepper. Cedar and a touch of oak.
It's very well done and true to Napa without any over ripeness.

Chablis like nose. A little reductive. Spicy, candied lemon with a touch of oak. Very good balance and freshness.

14.5%, young vines
Nice nose, quite elegant. The palate is much more concentrated that the nose would make you think. Juicy, red fruits, ripe finish.
A little boring.

Peppery, dirty old wood note with a lot of geranium.
Got a little better with more air.

Some oak but rather integrated. Charcoal and cassis, ripe strawberry. Rich palate but balanced.

14.2%.
A little shy on the nose. Borderline jammy totally lacking structure and focus. Ripe.
Not my kind of wine.

15.1%.
in spite of the high alcohol, it shows some balance. Sweet fruits, licorice with a hint of raisin. Ripe red fruits.
Interesting.

A touch of oxidative notes. Pear, spicy oak, hazelnut. Richness coming out of the nose. Almost an oily texture.
Not bad but to me lack a little excitement and acidity.
