Lifted nose with gooseberries, pink guava and stone fruits. Fresh acidity and fruity palate, fresher than weighty at the moment. Long smoky finish.

Nose show smoky fruits, red fruits and plum. Soft and juicy palate, showing good ripeness and nice plummy taste. Soft chewy tannins. Clean and polished.

Deeply coloured for a Merlot based wine. A little reductive and mineral nose. Soft and dusty palate with sweet, fruity finish.

Highest percentage of Cabernet in the history at 92%, in 100% new French oak (since 2008). Perfumed nose with arrays of smoky red and black fruits with earthy undertones. Very nice Cabernet fruits expression on palate, showing good purity and polished. Soft and medium bodied. Impressive effort and the star of this tasting. Lovely!

More dusty, earthy notes than Calon Segur along with soft fruity palate. Not bad.

Wine was bottled 22 Apr, 78% Cabernet and 21% Merlot. Good nose, blackcurrant, polished fruits. Surprisingly robust palate, by far the more structured wine in this tasting although a little austere at the moment. Nice purity on fruits, long finish. Another impressive effort.

Big smoky nose along with dusty earthy notes with some sweet fruits showing at the end. Light on the palate, black fruits and slight meaty.

Nice core of red berries fruits and rich fruity palate. One of the better wine tasted tonight.

Rich fruity palate with mix of red and black fruits. Soft and juicy with a good length. Quite impressed by this often underrated Chateaux.

I thought this is interesting and full of character. Expressive bouquet of honey, apricot, tropical fruits and tea leafs. Fresh on palate and showing just a little sweetness, with honey, apricot, pineapple and black tea leafs. Drying finish with nice lengthy aftertaste. More fresh and balance than concentration and it should drink early.
