2012 Malvira' Roero Arneis Italy, Piedmont, Alba, Roero

Light gold.
Fabulous nose, but it's transient, fruity an spicy.
Fruity, a taste resembling oxidisation, but something different, adequate acidity, delicious, plenty of body, good length.

2012 Cantina Clavesana Dogliani Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Dogliani

Translucent, quite youthful.
Leathery fruit, very attractive bouquet, resembling cabernet franc.

2010 Giuseppe Cortese Barbaresco Rabajà Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco

Flight 7 (1 note)

2009 Luigi Baudana Barolo Serralunga d'Alba Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
95 points
Opaque, very little age.
A fantastic bouquet of spicy blackcurrants, a nose to linger with.
In the mouth there's already plenty to enjoy, loads of rich dark fruit, soft tannins in plenty, very full bodied, caramel and fruit in the mid palate, very long, this wine is still very young and will probably reach its zenith in 10 to 20 years.

Flight 8 (1 note)

2013 Elio Perrone Moscato d'Asti Italy, Piedmont, Asti, Moscato d'Asti
88 points
Gold-silver with good bubbles.
A grapey nose with liquorice notes.
Grapey and refreshing taste.
