Elegant aromas of eucalyptus for a 2006 but with a shortie development.
Everything was too obvious to be a complex bottle.
Quite good at its best.

Elegantes aromas a eucaliptos para ser una 2006 pero de corto desarrollo.
Todo era demasiado obvio para proceder de una botella compleja.
En lo mejor, bastante buena.

Second bottle of two. Decanted for two hours.
Refused by the crowd at first, it was the people's choice at the end.
In spite of that aeration, it was reduced and shy giving nothing more than little pieces of its potential.
That was its way on the nose showing predominant aromas of cherry coke and plums.
Better on the palate, giving an elegant acidity followed by an interesting bitterness. Lovely savour.
Good length too.

Segunda botella de dos. Decantada por dos horas.
Rehusada por la peña al principio, fue la botella de la gente al final.
A pesar de ese oreo, era tímida y reducida mostrando sólo un poco de su potencial verdadero.
Se manifestó en nariz con aromas a cola de cereza y ciruelas.
Mejor en boca, aportando una elegante acidez seguida de un amargor interesante. Rico sabor.
También de buen recorrido.

Completely different if compared with its sisters of the evening.
Restricted on the nose, people didn't know how to face it. Even more, some we're speaking of a different grapes or method of elaboration, refusing that green pepper smells this bottle was offering, all disappeared with little patience.
I think this dusty bottle had elegancy enough considering where it's proceed. A complicate vintage full of shadows.
Palate, however showed which was its potential. Loved its finest silkiness.
Respect for the elders.

Completamente diferente si la comparas con sus hermanas.
Restringida en nariz, la gente no sabía como enfocarla. Más incluso, algunos llegaron a hablar de uvas o métodos de elaboración diferentes, rechazando esos olores a pimientos verdes que ofrecía esta botella, los cuales desaparecieron con un poco de paciencia.
Creo que está botella polvorienta tenía elegancia más que suficiente considerando de dónde viene: una añada complicada llena de sombras.
En boca, como fuese, mostró donde estaba todo su potencial. Me encantó su insuperable sedosidad.
Respeto para las ancianas.

Despite I couldn't bear that smell of mahoniese sauce, Clarendon's hand is there giving some delicacy and class even on the nose.
Palate showed a better work but all inside this, for me, atypical way considering this was a 100% CS bottle.
In my modest experience much better their Shiraz and Grenache based wines.
Just a curiosity.

La inesperada de la noche.
A pesar de que no pude soportar ese tufo a mahonesa, se nota el buen hacer de Clarendon incluso aportando delicadeza y clase en nariz.
Mejor en boca aunque para mi, se mostró atípica para una botella 100% CS.
En mi escasa experiencia mucho mejor sus vinos basados en la Shiraz y en la garnacha.
Sólo como curiosidad.

En boca se mostró con una interesante acidez y un gran encanto aunque desfalleciendo ya un poco.
Me gustó. Respeta la jerarquía.

Little one-dimensional but that's CVNE style, isn't it?
Still alive and kicking. Will develop further. Traditional Rioja at its best.

Me encantó su viva acidez, mostrando un carácter suave y maduro en boca y una destacable nariz fragante.
Un poco unidimensional pero ese es el estilo CVNE, ¿verdad?

Finally and surprisingly its dregs extended on some bread with Stilton were delicious.
