crisp dry, quite a bit of fruit

mostly vermentino and grenache blanc and some picpoul
seashells, citrus, straight forward wine.

very elegant nose with some almond milk and lemon sorbet, full body, creamy, a little soft and short on the finish.

quite fruit forward, some vanilla in spite of being raised on big barrels (foudres), dry and fine on the palate, short finish.

very fine and clean and pure wine, good fruit, decent structure, 14,5 % alcohol. Has some syrah and barbera in it.

Dry herbs, cherry pits, sweet cherries, some oak, dry and fresh, long finish. This is a real step up compared to the zin and the barbera.

fine nose, but fruit feels a bit soft and thin, no real midpalate structure.

Beautiful nose, this is a forceful yet elegant syrah, with much more structure than the regular syrah.

not rating this as it had been open for several days. It had acquired quite a soft licorice chew feel to it. interesting. 76 % sangiovese and 24 % montepulciano.
