Flight 1 (6 notes)

White
2013 Frog's Leap Chardonnay USA, California, Napa Valley
Clear, light gold color. Youthful aromas of stone fruit, chalky minerality and wheat straw. High acid and lean in style, with nervy citrus and saline mineral notes, along with subtle notes of almond and earthy spice. Dry finish, medium length. Nicely done.
Red
2012 Frog's Leap Zinfandel USA, California, Napa Valley
Clear, medium ruby color. Showing aromas of plum, honey & spice, earth and fennel on the nose. Medium+ acid on the palate with bright & juicy plum & cherry fruit along with brambly earth and mineral high-tones. Grainy polished tannins. Elegant in style. Clean mineral notes on the finish. Very nice.
Red
2012 Frog's Leap Merlot USA, California, Napa Valley, Rutherford
Dark ruby color. Aromas of plum, wet stone, violets, and brambly spice. Bright & juicy plum & black cherry fruit with silky vanilla spice and hints of floral and earth notes. Elegant silky tannin, integrated but structured acid, juicy full finish. A really pretty wine.
Red
2012 Frog's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Grown Rutherford USA, California, Napa Valley, Rutherford
Clear, deep ruby color. Aromas of cassis, black cherry, anise, cedar, earth and tobacco. Medium acid, tannin and body- all in balance with flavors of juicy red and black cherry/cassis, clove, vanilla bean, cedar and violets. Silky and rich tannin. Rich full finish. Very elegant but with plenty gumption. Excellent.
Red
2012 Frog's Leap Heritage Blend USA, California, Napa Valley
Medium ruby color. Aromas of black fruit, brambly earth, provencial herbs and dried flowers. Silky blueberry, spice and cassis on the palate. Medium acid and tannin- silky and rich. Expressive finish. Very nice.

Clear, deep ruby color. Brambly earth, spice, cassis and tea leaf aromas- a little funky but still clean. Medium+ acid and full tannin- showing silky on the palate with pungent dark fruit and layered earth and spice. Grainy polished tannins, elegant finish. Nice, but needs time.
