Past its peak, mature but drinking well with silky finish. Typical aged nose medicinal sweet dried fruits. Med body and med+ finish. Drink up soon.

1 hour decant, in its peak now. Complex, minerals, silky, balance. Med+ body and very long finishing. Delicious!

2 hours decant, not much showing at the monent. The wine is still in its infant stage. Pretty much closed. Try again in 5 years.

2006 Château Pontet-Canet

4 hours decant, need probably another hour or two, so we slowly drink it. Still tight and disjoint but the complexity & minerals are promising. Good 45s+ finishing. Need over 10 years.
