2014 Charles Smith Riesling Kung Fu Girl

Light color. Perfumed nose with yellow apples and hints of petro. Medium plus body, nice fruit on the palate, good acidity. Straight forward but good.
Probably a very good match with asian food due to the 11 gram residual sugar.

Massive aroma with butter and oak à la Mersault. Intense on the palate, with a solid amount of oak. Some alcohol in the finish, nice acidity.
For me, the oak is too dominant.

Pure and ingratiatingly on the nose, with perfume and raspberries. Cool fruit, integrated oak, nice acidity. Some alcohol in the finish. Charming!

Intense and spicy dark fruit on the nose. Raspberries/forest fruit and forest floor. Quite dry style, quite present tannins. Very young now. Needs air to open up.

2012 Copain Pinot Noir "En Haut" Kiser

Chemicals, raspberry and candy on the nose. Pure, "burgundy-like" style with good acidity. Spicy finish. At this price level I would have expected a bit more complexity.

2013 Ridge Lytton Springs

Perfumed and sweet nose with spices and forest fruit. Very seemless style. Noticable tannins suggests aging potantial. A pleasure to drink.

Rich style with chocolate and blackcurrant juice. Nice balance and good acidity. Quite expensive, though.
